My name is Nathan Marzina. I am a sophomore from Bethel Park, PA, which is about 25 minutes from the city of Pittsburgh. Since even before high school I was always interested in programming, computers, and just technology in general. After applying to colleges in high school, I decided that I wanted to go to Duquesne University. About 1 month after committing to Duquesne, I got my acceptance letter to Temple Univeristy. Which came in the mail in April of 2020, one of the peaks of COVID-19. But, my dad insisted we tour the campus. So, the next day we drove 5 hours from Pittsburgh, got a cheesesteak from Jims on South Street, walked around campus for an hour, before driving back 5 hours home the same day. I will never forget when my dad asked me if I wanted to change my mind about Duquesne; and I am so glad I did.
